Most men who are thinking about a vasectomy aren't stuck on the procedure.
They're stuck on the conversation.
I see this constantly. A man comes in, we talk through everything, and at some point I ask how long he's been considering this. The answer is almost always the same: a year, two years, sometimes longer.
When I ask what took so long, it's rarely about fear of the procedure. It's about not knowing how to start the conversation with his partner.
Which is worth paying attention to. Because the longer you wait to have the talk, the longer everything else waits too.
